'After some 40 years in public sector administration, mainly in finance and strategic planning roles the Isidore product is by far the best I have seen. One of the key measures for an effective planning processes is the wide participation of staff across the organization in the detail of putting the plan together. Because Isidore is such a simple product to use this, enables participation across all levels and geographical locations within the organization. In practice it is also almost a paperless process that takes a lot of the pressure out of budget formulation cycle.'

Solomon Islands Government
Solomon Island use Isidore for the whole of Government budgetary process. Read what they say about Isidore:
'The Solomon Islands Government (SIG) currently uses the services and software of Isidore for the purpose of developing, producing, executing and monitoring the Solomon Islands National Budget and has done so for the past 2 years. The software is primarily used to assist with the collection of budgets for the Governments 30 Ministries, presenting the collated budgets to Cabinet for approval, producing Budget papers for parliamentary approval, managing the review of budgets and transfers and enabling multiple review versions throughout the annual budget cycle.
The budget process was previously managed through the use of spreadsheets, which were prone to errors, were difficult to manage and make changes during the cycle, limited the number of versions and made the presentation of the complete Government report a very time consuming process. The softwares compatibility with Adobe products has made it possible for Budget documentation to be provided electronically to our many stakeholders and on our soon to be release website.
With Isidore, SIG now has the ability to manage a number of different aspects which were not previously considered feasible or budget related, such as asset management and forecasting. The inclusion of such activities has been simple, easy and with not much time and cost involved. There is currently a process underway to automate the integration of our Budget system with our Financial Management System, which is presently being upgraded. This has been an expedient and promising project to date, with little financial cost, which will provide us with a very efficient, seamless and valuable outcome, assisting greatly with our business processes improvement and audit-ability.
Reporting has also been an area where we now have greater availability and easy presentation of data. Fixed reporting used to produce our Official Budget Document in addition to live financial statements has made our executive reporting standardised and timely. Ad-hoc reporting available through Isidore has complimented our use of the software so any queries can be answered quickly and presented in a fashion which suits the need. This has been simple enough to have users trained to formally prepare one-off and ongoing new reports quickly in house and addresses issues over any budget area from fuel to spending on education.
Support, maintenance, training and updates have been integral to the success of the implementation process and in an ongoing manner. This has been complete on-site and remotely with Isidore staff using the web, telephone and email. SIG is very satisfied with Isidore and intends on maintaining a strong relationship into the future.'
